The Best 🙌 Recipe You'll Find 🔍 for Delicious 😋 Omurice 🍚 ...

I'm here to share the best recipe for omurice. Omurice quite literally translates to rice omelet. It's a great way to use leftover cooked chicken. It's often featured in anime with cutsey lovey dovey hearts on them. I don't have a long story about how my nana's nana made this for her or how it saved small puppies, I just wanted breakfast. Here's the best recipe for omurice that you'll ever find.

2 cups of cooked rice

1 large egg per serving

2 Tbs Water

Soy sauce to taste

Extras (I used habanero salsa myself)

~optional meats such as shredded and cooked chicken, sausage, whatever is in the fridge

Equipment needed

A bowl

Baking sheet

Baking mat

Let's get grooving

The first step is to make the egg sheet in a nonstick skillet. I have a cast iron but I doubt I'll be able to flip the sheet. I could get dressed, drive to the store, and buy one. The problem is that my pajamas are way too comfortable and I'm too lazy for that nonsense.

Preheat the oven to 350F or 176C. If you're cooking in Kelvin I can't help you.

While the oven is preheating prep your eggs. I used 3 here for protein. Add water and salt. I used Creole seasoning and pepper.

Beat eggs and slowly pour a *thin* layer onto a baking sheet lined with the baking mat. Some egg will probably spill, but the sheet will catch it.

Put eggs in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it. Take out to cool. It won't look pretty, but you can hide your mistakes.

Heat your skillet to medium. Throw in the rice and pre-cooked small bit of fillings such as cooked chicken. Stir until warm.

Put rice on a plate in a neat pile and cut a piece of egg sheet big enough to cover rice pile. Tuck your rice in with the egg sheet and decorate. Hide mistakes under rice and ketchup.

*Poured mine too thick so it broke.
