I recently found this fantastic information on diyncrafts.com and I felt like I should share.

There's nothing worse than spending your hard earned money on groceries only to find that you can't eat it before it goes bad.

Turns out there are some tricks you can use to prolong the life of your food so that you can enjoy eating it and save some money at the same time.

Throwing away food always makes me feel bad so I'll be sure to be using all of these tips in my kitchen, starting right now.

I hope you'll join me.

1. Keep Honey from Crystallizing

Honey is delicious but it can crystallize quickly.

Honey is actually the only food that never spoils but it can turn sugary after a while.

Just place the entire jar of honey in a glass container with a bit of water in the bottom and put it on a candle warmer.

This helps to de-crystallize it and makes it wonderfully warm so it pours out easily.
