Holiday Hollandaise Sauce

Holiday Hollandaise Sauce Hollandaise sauce is one of the most famous holiday recipes many people enjoy during this festive time of year, and you can easily make it in your blender. Whether you’re enjoying this on hot biscuits, a meat entree, or as a sauce for dipping, this is one of the most simple holiday recipes in a blender to make.

Serves: 6 servings

Ingredients:
½ cup butter
¼ tsp. dijon or regular mustard
1 tbsp. lemon juice
½ tsp. Tabasco or your favorite hot sauce
3 egg yolks

Directions: In your blender, add al the ingredients except the butter. Cover and blend for about 5 seconds. Next, put the butter in a glass measuring cup like a Pyrex cup, and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. It should be completely melted and hot at this point. Turn your blender to high speed and pour the butter into the egg mixture in your blender as it’s blending, in a thin, slow stream. It will start to thicken immediately. Keep the sauce warm until serving by placing the blender container in a pan of hot tap water, or you can put it in a dish and put the dish in a small pan of hot tap water until serving.
