Peeps S’mores

Peeps S’mores S’mores are by far my favorite snack; I always keep the ingredients around for whenever I get a hankering. Right around Easter everyone seems to have a plethora of Peeps that they don’t quite know what to do with. The solution is simple: add some chocolate and graham crackers!

Ingredients:
Graham Crackers
Hershey’s Bars
Peeps

Directions:
On a microwave safe plate, place half of a Graham Cracker.
Lay two portions of chocolate on top.
Place 1 Peep atop the chocolate.
Microwave for 15-20 seconds.
Top your gooey chocolately marshmallow with the other half of the Graham Cracker.
Devour.

Easter Bark

Easter Bark Delicious sweets that you don’t have to bake thrill me! While this is a great treat to make and give away for Easter, it is also a phenomenal snack to make once Easter is over and you have baskets of Easter candy sitting around. Use your leftover candy to make this festively colored Easter Bark!

Ingredients:
1 pound pink candy coating chocolate
1 pound yellow candy coating chocolate
1 1/2 cups of candy toppings (jelly beans, chocolate eggs, sprinkles, and my personal favorite- candy coated sunflower seeds)
Optional (for edible grass):
1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
Green food coloring

If you want edible grass, mix the coconut and green food coloring in a zip lock bag and shake.
Place parchment or wax paper on a rimmed cookie sheet.
Using a double boiler (or the microwave if you’re careful not to burn the chocolate), melt each color of chocolate separately and pour onto the cookie sheet in any design you’d like.
Use a knife to swirl the colors into patterns.
Allow the chocolate to cool for approximately 5 minutes.
Top the chocolate with your choice of candy toppings.
Allow to sit for 30-45 minutes until the chocolate it hard.
Break into chunks and enjoy!

Easter Oreos

Easter Oreos Is there anyone who doesn’t like Oreos? They are so so good! This pretty little treat can be made using original Oreos but they look a little more “Eastery” if you use the Golden Oreos. Either way though, they are delicious!

Ingredients:
Oreos
White chocolate candy melts
Food coloring
Sprinkles

Directions:
Melt your white chocolate candy melts and separate it into shallow bowls.
Add your choice of food coloring one drop at a time, because you want it to stay pastel.
Use your fingers or a fork to dip the cookies in the melted chocolate.
Lay dipped cookies flat on wax paper and decorate with sprinkles!
