2. Cherry Nut Cake

This cake is a cherry dream on a plate!

And it’s simple to make!


1 cup plain yogurt

4 eggs

2 tbsp maraschino cherry juice

ΒΌ tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

1 box of white cake mix

Β½ cup finely chopped walnuts

Β½ cup maraschino cherries, cut into halves or quarters


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, which will ensure that your cake come out evenly baked!

And spray a Bundt pan with Baker’s Joy (or butter and flour the pan, please)!

Mix together the yogurt, eggs, cherry juice, and vanilla extract.

Then add in the white cake mix and that lovely little pinch of salt.

Once combined, add your walnuts and cherries!

Spread your cake batter into your Bundt pan and put it in the oven or 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, and it’s done!

Now for the glaze!

Glaze Ingredients

ΒΎ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp maraschino cherry juice

Β½ tsp vanilla

Milk or water, as needed for consistency

Once the cake is cooled and turned out, mix the glaze ingredients and spread over the top of the cake!

Top with more walnuts, if desired!
