Salmon that comes in a can is no less healthy than the fresh kind you can get from the seafood counter and the supermarket. Itโ€™s usually the pink species and makes for a good way to reap the benefits of salmon even if itโ€™s not available fresh or frozen where you live. Use canned salmon to make salmon patties or as a great protein to add to your favorite salad. Yum!
