1. Swap Sugar for Cinnamon

Yes, sugary sweet coffee might taste delicious, but it's not that good for you. Sugar can cause all kinds of health issues, including weight gain and insulin resistance. If you can't get by without it, you might be surprised that skipping the sugar in favor of cinnamon is just the switch you've been needing in your life. It tastes good and keeps all those calories out of your morning cup of joe.

2. Don't Just Drink Your Coffee

Sure drinking your coffee can get you through the day, but don't stop there. You can use leftovers to make coffee flavored treats that can make any day go from bad to heavenly. Next time you need a pick me up, try tiramisu, coffee flavored brownies or cake with coffee mixed in. You can also enjoy coffee on ice cream or mixed with syrup on your pancakes.

3. Use Frozen Coffee to Make It Cold

Sometimes it's too hot for a steaming mug of coffee, but that doesn't mean you don't have a craving. When you need coffee and you need it cold, you don't want to put regular ice cubes in it because it will water it down and that's just sad. Freeze coffee into cubes and use them to chill your iced coffee. Perfect!

4. Get Rid of Bitterness with Salt

Got a particularly bitter mug of coffee? You certainly don't want to pour it down the drain. You need it, gosh darn it! When this happens to you, simply add a pinch of salt to the coffee, which will neutralize the bitterness without dramatically altering the flavor. Easy, right?

6. Use Leftover Grounds on Your Skin

Coffee grounds are one of the best natural exfoliators out there so don't toss yours before you put them to use. In the shower, gently massage the grounds all over your skin to remove dead skin cells and reveal the radiant skin beneath. As a bonus, you'll be able to smell coffee all day long, which is never a bad thing, right?

7. Make Your Own Frothy Coffee

Who says you have to shell out for the fancy coffee at the corner shop? You can totally make your own frothy coffee right at home and save yourself loads of cash. To do this, whip some milk until it starts to thicken. Then, microwave it for 30 seconds and whip some more. Add it to your coffee and you're the new best barista on the block.
