You are going to love this recipe for turkey and veggie chili! I’m a huge fan of cooking in the crockpot because it makes healthy cooking easy!! If you don’t have a crockpot, you can buy one for less than $30 at most department stores. The BEST part about cooking in the crockpot is that you simply throw all of the ingredients in and BOOM, dinner is ready in a few hours! Cooking does NOT get any easier than this, I promise!

1 lb lean ground turkey
2 Cans Diced Tomatoes (I used the garlic and oregano seasoned ones)
1 can mild chili beans (or spicy if you want to add an extra kick)
ANY canned veggies you'd like to add! I used carrots but you can use anything!
1 Dash of Chili Powder
Cook the ground turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Put the cooked turkey, tomatoes, beans, and veggies in the crockpot.
Add 1-2 sprinkles of chili powder. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
You can also make this on the stove! Just be sure to cook the meat first, add all the rest of the ingredients, and warm thoroughly! This recipe is sure to keep you warm all winter long!
