The World's Strangest Fast Food Menu Items ...

It might be a fast food burger, but it definitely tops the list of strange fast food menu items from around the world. Head to Japan for this concoction that features a bun stuffed with squash slices and bacon, then topped off with a strange sauce that contains sesame and peanuts. Hmmm, wonder if it’s good.

Next time you’re in Egypt, give this a try. Instead of a grilled meat patty, you’ll find a slab of deep fried cheese between the buns on this menu item. You can add the typical toppings, but it definitely won’t taste the same. Although, if you like cheese sticks, you might find that this is actually pretty tasty.

Doesn’t sound too appetizing, does it? I don’t think so. Well, someone must because if you spend any time in China, you’ll see this as a menu item at Dunkin Donuts. It’s a donut stuffed with shredded pork and seaweed. It sounds sort of like an empanada, but I’m not sure how the sweet taste would pair with seaweed.

Here’s another one from Japan. I love pizza as much as the next person, but this combination of flavors sounds more gag worthy than appetizing to me. The crust is made from fried shrimp and mayo, then the pie is topped with a strange assortment of foods that include broccoli, crab, eggs, potatoes and onions. Would you eat it?

You can find these little gems at the prepared foods counter at supermarkets in the United Kingdom. Now, I love sandwiches and I love lasagna, but all I can think when they are combined is nasty, soggy bread. I guess you could always take it apart, but maybe a trip to an Italian restaurant would be a better way to satisfy a craving.

I love a nice big Snickers blizzard, but one with green tea? I guess the ice cream would keep things sort of sweet, but I wonder how this would actually taste. Sure, green tea is good for you, but if you’re indulging in a Blizzard, why not go all out and just have it with some candy, then sip your green tea when you get home? If you’re dying to try one, you’ll have to go to Thailand to find it.

This is something you can find in Korea and if you have an adventurous spirit, you should definitely give it a try. The item is a green tea flavored bagel stuffed with a red bean paste. I guess the concept is a good one, but maybe with some different flavors.
