Everyone loves bacon, most especially me, so finding new bacon recipes is a really good way to make my day. Bacon might not be healthiest food out there, but I like to indulge once in awhile. As long as you arenโ€™t eating it all the time, going crazy once in awhile is perfectly fine. Check out these bacon recipes and get ready to enjoy life just a little bit more.

This is one of my favorite bacon recipes, thought itโ€™s far from nutritious. I save it for special occasions to keep myself from overdoing it. I promise youโ€™re going to love this one.

Ingredients:
1 pound bacon
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 tomato, seeded and diced

Directions:
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Stir together the mayonnaise and sour cream in a bowl. Crumble the bacon and add to the mayonnaise mixture. Gently stir in the tomatoes just before serving.

2. Sweet and Spicy Jalapeno Poppers

These have to be one of the best appetizers out there. Theyโ€™re super easy to make, but I seriously have a hard time backing away. I could eat the whole plate if no one stops me. Serve these up at your next get together and youโ€™ll see what I mean.

Ingredients:
6 jalapeno peppers
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
6 bacon strips, cut in half widthwise
ยผ cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili seasoning

Directions:
Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and take the seeds out. Beat the cream cheese and cheddar in a bowl until well combined. Place an even amount of the cheese into each jalapeno half and then wrap each with a piece of the bacon. Stir together the brown sugar and chili seasoning and coat the peppers with it. Bake the peppers at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes in a greased baking dish.

3. Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

I love Brussels sprouts steamed with salt and pepper, but if you prefer something with a bit more flavor, this is the recipe for you. This is an economical and fairly healthy side dish that works great with roasted turkey, chicken, fish or a thick, juicy steak.

Ingredients:
3 slices bacon, chopped
1 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 shallot, chopped
1 ยฝ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup chicken broth

Directions:
Cook the bacon in a skillet until brown and crisp. Remove the bacon and add the olive oil to the pan. Saute the shallots in the oil for 1 to 2 minutes. Toss in the Brussels sprouts and stir to coat with oil. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 3 minutes. Add the broth and bring to a boil. Cover the pan, reduce the heat and simmer the sprouts for about 10 minutes. Drain the sprouts and top with bacon just before serving.

At my house, we eat classic breakfast foods for dinner all the time. Theyโ€™re fast, delicious and super simple. This is one of our favorites. It comes together so fast your family wonโ€™t have to wait to eat when theyโ€™re starving.

Ingredients:
ยฝ pound bacon, cut into ยฝ-inch pieces
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1 ยฝ pounds roasted new potatoes, seasoned with salt and pepper
4 large eggs

Directions:
Cook the bacon until crisp and brown, then set aside. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of the bacon grease from the pan. Saute the onions and peppers in the pan for about 3 minutes. Add the potatoes and cook an additional 5 minutes. Gently crack the eggs on top of the potato mixture and allow to set for 5 minutes. Serve right away.

This tastes like something you get in a restaurant, but you can eat it at home in your sweats. Donโ€™t worry โ€“ itโ€™s not hard to make and youโ€™re going to love the results.

Ingredients:
12 ounces raw, chopped bacon
1 small white onion, chopped
5 white button mushrooms, chopped
1 ยฝ pounds extra lean ground beef
1 egg
ยผ cup evaporated milk
6 ounces shredded Swiss cheese, divided
ยฝ cup corn flake crumbs

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain the bacon on paper towels. Discard all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon grease and sautรฉ the mushrooms and onions until soft in the remainder. Combine the beef, egg and milk in a large bowl. Add the onions and mushrooms, about 4 ounces of the cheese and all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon. Add the cornflake crumbs and combine the mixture very well. Form into a loaf and place in a meatloaf pan. Bake for 1 hour, then top with the remaining cheese and bacon. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese melts.
