Wine is something that I love to cook with, especially in the summer. Drinking it though is even better! If you are a wine-girl and are looking for some new summer wines to add to your collection, this is the post for you! I have all of the very best wines that will make your taste bud rejoice!

1. 2010 Leitz Dragonstone Riesling

Josef Leitz Dragonstone Riesling 2012, Weingut Josef Leitz Riesling Rheingau Dragonstone, Josef Leitz Dragonstone Riesling 2011, drink, alcoholic beverage,

This wine is amazing, it has some spiced apple flavors, pear tart, apricot, peach and it is not too sweet but just sweet enough. It has a savory fragrance with a bright and salty tongue-taste. I love slipping this wine into all kinds of food (I'm not a huge wine drinker, just a wine cooker), but the taste of this one? Delish!

2. 2010 Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc

Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Kim Crawford, drink, wine, alcoholic beverage,

If you've been dying for a wine that isn't too sweet but is still fragrant and tropical, this is the wine for you! It has some pineapple flavoring, grapefruit, dragon fruit and even some melon flavors. There is a juicy bit of acid to it too, which is awesome. The finish is lingering, zesty and definitely fresh and crisp. Love it!

3. La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2008, California

wine, alcoholic beverage, drink, vineyard, agriculture,

This is actually a vintage wine and it's one of my favorites for the summer nights. It tastes a bit like cherry, orange, and even some watering little jammy feeling. It also has some tea leaves at the back and sweet tobacco. I love, love this wine for a night out on the porch!

4. Brad and Angie's Miraval 2012

distilled beverage, alcoholic beverage, drink, liqueur, nectar,

Who would have known that Brad and Angie would have their own wine? This wine is very complex, so delish and I'm dying for some right now! It has some wild herbs, citrus, raspberry, strawberry and even some wet stone flavors. This wine is so good that the celebs go nuts over it!

5. ChΓͺne Bleu Rose 2012

drink, alcoholic beverage, distilled beverage, nectar, wine,

This is a blush wine (which are my fave when I do drink!) and it really reminds me of the fleshy little texture of a rose petal. This particular wine tastes just like strawberries, raspberries, red summer fruit, tangerines, papaya and is very well structured. I'd pair this wine with seafood, chicken or even lobster!

6. Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma County 2008, California

alcoholic beverage, wine, drink, label, vineyard,

This wine is all about the berries! It has flavors of raspberry and blackberry. It is crisp and is medium to full body. It has a supple texture and truth be told, this wine is great paired with steaks and red meat. Order now!

7. Tio Pepe Dry Palomino Fino Sherry NV

alcoholic beverage, drink, wine, distilled beverage, nectar,

And I saved the best for last, this is an affordable wine that is a bit on the savory side and on the sweet side. The perfect combination. It has soft notes of apple, almond and honey, but also has a bit of mushroom inside of it and roasted nuts. This wine is my go-to for cooking.
