As a personal trainer and lover of good, healthy eating, I am constantly finding new ways to add veggies into the daily eating of myself and my family. 1. Add Veggies into Your Omelet

Add Veggies into Your Omelet Start your day the right way with some lean protein for breakfast. Add some spinach, kale and broccoli to your omelet and it will add flavor and nutrients. This will help you break the fast and improve your overall health. Adding veggies to your omelet is one of the easiest ways to add veggies into your daily eating.

2. Have a Green Shake

Have a Green Shake Have you had your green shake today? I enjoy a power packed kale, spinach, banana, strawberry and flax shake. This shake is simple and easy to make and is loaded with phytonutrients which help lower your risk of cancer, better your health and help weight loss.

3. Nosh on Some Veggies for a Snack

Nosh on Some Veggies for a Snack Slice up some carrots, broccoli, tomatoes and celery sticks for a refreshing and healthy snack. If you want to add a little flavor create your own dip with greek yogurt and minced onion or scallion. This is a healthy swap for French onion dip. This is an easy way to add veggies into your day.

4. Make Salad the Main Meal

Make Salad the Main Meal One of the easiest and healthiest things you can do to get plenty of greens in for the day is make salad the main dish of every meal. My children used to not like salad until I stressed the nutritional benefits and explained each ingredient and now they love their salad ingredients. Keep your focus on the main dish and enjoy all the health benefits it will provide for you.

As part of taking control over your health and wellbeing, it's important to pay attention to the amount of sugar you consume daily. Did you ever wonder how many grams of sugar are in a teaspoon? Understanding this can help you make healthier choices and avoid those sneaky sugars that add up throughout the day. No doubt, your body will thank you!

5. Make Veggies the Star of Every Meal

Make Veggies the Star of Every Meal If I am creating a stir fry, I make the veggies the main attraction and if I add chicken, this is in a minimal amount. If you make veggies the star of every meal, you will enjoy the flavors more and learn to love them.

6. Have a Lettuce Veggie Wrap

Have a Lettuce Veggie Wrap Create some veggie wraps as a snack so you can satisfy your appetite and your nutritional needs. Take bib lettuce and stuff with cooked mushrooms, minced onions, carrots, cubed eggplant and tomatoes. Serve the veggies warm wrapped in cold bib lettuce. Veggies wraps rock because they taste great and it is an easy and effective way to add veggies into your daily eating!

7. Serve a Veggie Platter for Your Entertaining

Serve a Veggie Platter for Your Entertaining Embodying a healthy lifestyle is amazing, but you have to live, eat, breathe and sleep health to make it a total healthy change so why not do so in social settings as well. Serve your guests a veggie platter for noshing, onion sautéed veggies with their entrée and a veggie pie for dessert. These are all easy ways to add more veggies into your day!

I hope my tips have helped you to find easy, effective and fun ways to add veggies into your daily eating. Life is what you make of it, so why not make yours healthy, happy and veggie filled. Have you had your veggies today?
