1. Swap Eggs for Mashed Banana
This is one of the easiest plant-based food swaps. Roughly about half a banana will give you the same binding and moistening quality as one egg when baking and no, your baking will not be banana flavored.
2. Swap Honey for Agave Syrup
Agave syrup is not as common as honey, but is a healthy and equally sweet alternative.

3. Swap Cow’s Milk for Plant Milks
Soy, oat, almond, rice, and again the list goes on and on. With so many alternatives to cow’s milk it may take some time for you to find your favorite but they’re all very different and great in their own way.
4. Swap Egg Whites for Aquafaba
You’re completely forgiven for not knowing what aquafaba is – no one really does. It’s basically the water that’s in the tin between your chickpeas. It’s great to use for deserts (like you’d use egg whites) because egg whites and aquafaba become basically the same when whipped.
5. Swap Dairy Cream for Coconut Cream
Cooking, baking, whipping – whatever you want to do, coconut cream behaves almost identically to cream that comes from dairy.
6. Swap Dairy Cream for Avocado
This may seem odd, but because avocado has such a neutral flavor it actually lends itself really well to desserts and makes whatever you add it to really rich and creamy.
7. Swap Ice Cream for Frozen Bananas
Just mash or blend your bananas, add the flavoring of your choice and freeze them: quick, delicious, sweet and way healthier than the alternative.
