There’s nothing quite like movie night, and if you’re looking for new popcorn flavors to shake things up, you came to the right place. Popcorn has a mild taste that pairs well with lots of other things, so you don't need to be stuck with the same old bowl of buttered popcorn. Try some of these popcorn flavors during your next movie marathon and you’ll be so thrilled, you’ll want to make every night movie night.

1. Cinnamon and Sugar

Cinnamon and Sugar A nice warm slice of cinnamon and sugar toast just makes me feel like home. If you love the combination, make it your new go-to choice of the popcorn flavors I’m listing here. Cook your popcorn as usual and lightly toss it with a bit of melted butter. Sprinkle the popcorn with cinnamon and white sugar and shake it to coat the kernels.

2. Spicy Garlic

Spicy Garlic If you’re more of a savory than sweet kind of girl, spicy garlic popcorn is for you. Once the kernels are popped, lightly mist the popcorn with a bit of chili oil or canola oil. Dust the popcorn with garlic salt and a dash chili powder or cayenne pepper. You’ll probably want to keep a tall glass of water nearby while you eat this one! You won’t be sorry though.

3. Chocolate Caramel

Chocolate Caramel I can’t stop raving about the combination of chocolate and caramel. It works for hot chocolate, oatmeal, pancakes, and now popcorn. Drizzle cooked popcorn with caramel sauce. I use the runny stuff you normally put on ice cream because it’s easy to use. Then sprinkle on cocoa powder. For this, I like to just use up some of my hot chocolate mix. Stir the popcorn to distribute the flavoring and enjoy. Don’t even think about eating chocolate caramel popcorn without a handful of napkins.

4. Chili Lime

Chili Lime Chili lime is an increasingly popular flavor combination that works particularly well on grain foods, like corn chips and popcorn. Cook your popcorn as you normally do and put it in a large bowl. Squeeze the juice of one lime over the kernels, then dust them with chili powder just before eating.

As part of taking control over your health and wellbeing, it's important to pay attention to the amount of sugar you consume daily. Did you ever wonder how many grams of sugar are in a teaspoon? Understanding this can help you make healthier choices and avoid those sneaky sugars that add up throughout the day. No doubt, your body will thank you!

5. Taco

Taco If you love tacos as much as I do, you can carry the yumminess to your next bowl of kernels. Pop the corn and drizzle it with melted butter. This helps the flavoring stick to each piece of popcorn so you don’t get any boring bites. Dust the popcorn with a small handful of taco seasoning. Sit back and enjoy!

6. Parmesan Ranch

Parmesan Ranch Parmesan ranch popcorn is hearty and tasty and you might find the bowl empty without realizing you ate so much. Put your cooked popcorn into a bowl and lightly coat it with melted butter. Toss the kernels with some powdered ranch dressing mix. Toss in some crumbled Parmesan cheese and stir the popcorn to mix the flavors throughout.

7. Jalapeno Cheese

Jalapeno Cheese If spicy flavors are to your taste, jalapeno cheese popcorn might be your new favorite. Once the popcorn is cooked, drizzle it with chili oil. Mix in finely shredded Cheddar cheese. I like this option because it’s reminiscent of nachos without all the fat and calories.

It’s hard to get through a movie without a bowl of crunchy popcorn. Am I right? How do you like your popcorn? Will you try any of these flavors?
