1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 large egg white
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Powdered sugar

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, unsweetened cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and stir. Combine cherry preserves, water, and butter in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add preserves mixture to flour mixture and stir. Add egg and egg white and stir until smooth. Stir in semisweet chocolate chips. Scrape batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Garnish with powdered sugar.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg

1/2 cup dry red wine, such as burgundy
10 ounces dark chocolate, broken into chunks
1 cup dried tart cherries

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking soda in a bowl. In another bowl, combine butter and sugars. Add egg, vanilla, and wine and combine. Add the flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate and cherries. On a nonstick cookie sheet, place a tablespoon of dough for each cookie. Bake 8-10 minutes.

1/2 cup sour cream
3 large eggs
6 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In medium saucepan, combine cherries and sugar. Using a fork, crush cherries. Cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. Transfer to separate bowl and let cool. Add sour cream and eggs. Combine with the flour mixture. Fold chopped cherries into batter. Gradually stir in butter. Pour into the load pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes, then remove to rack to cool completely.
