I’m a shameless smoothie nut, and apparently I’m not alone, with all the celebrity breakfast smoothies that are so popular with the stars today. You don’t need tons of money to make a great tasting smoothie, nor do you need a pricey blender. I will say, the expensive blenders are worth every single penny, and I’ve probably already paid for mine just in smoothies alone. However, even if you have a standard household blender, join the rich and famous in making a few of their favorites, which are simple, delicious and pretty cheap! These celebrity breakfast smoothies are approved by the stars’ trainers as well, so no worries in wondering if they are healthy or not. Quit buying pre-made smoothies and make some of these delicious blends at home instead. Plus, then you’ll get to feel super elite and tell your friends that you’re drinking Gwyneth, Kim, or Jessica’s favorite breakfast, maybe even at the exact time as they are!
Harley Pasternak is the creator of one of the most popular celebrity breakfast smoothies out there. Trainer to Jessica Simpson, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Halle Berry and more, Harley Pasternak has become famous off of this one smoothie alone the last few months. Harley says he thinks this smoothie is the perfect combination of nutrients, and since it is blended, it is easy to digest and a great way to start the day out on the right track. For a total of 382 calories, it sounds delicious, healthy and pretty filling! Plus, you can make this in any blender you wish, but I would suggest following the directions exactly to get the smoothest blend possible.
Ingredients:
5 raw almonds
1 red apple
1 banana
3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender. Depending on how powerful your blender is, you may need to chop the apple and almonds into small pieces before blending.
Blend on medium-high for 30 seconds or until desired consistency.

Here’s another delectable, healthy recipe by Harley, who says the mixture is a great source of low calorie antioxidants and fiber. It also contains lean protein to keep you full, but the color is what has got me sold here! We all know purple’s the color of royalty, making this blend the perfect celebrity-quality smoothie! Plus, the recipe is totally customizable based on what type of berries and protein powder you prefer.
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 orange, peeled
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (or whole flaxseeds, depending on your blender)
Directions:
In a blender or food processor, combine the raspberries, blueberries, orange, protein powder, and flaxseeds.

Nutritionist Carrie Wiatt, who is Los Angeles nutritionist to Fergie and other stars, says Fergie is a huge fan of this divine blueberry shake, which is chock-full of good ingredients. These ingredients are some of my personal favorites too, since they are anti-aging, full of fiber for a healthy digestive system, and extremely slimming as well. Plus, with added protein and healthy fats, this can serve as a great meal replacement for mornings or afternoons on the go!
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 tablespoons almond butter (preferably raw)
1 tablespoon flax seed
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Gwyneth Paltrow is quite possibly one of my favorite celebs of all time. She’s real, down to earth, beautiful and she loves good, clean, real food. I just love that! Gwyneth follows a pretty strict clean eating plan that many find hard to live by, but her smoothie recipes are anything but strict in my book. She has several favorite smoothies, which are designed by Dr. Junger M.D, author of The Clean Diet and one of the top detox doctors out there. Dr. Junger has been featured on Dr. Oz most recently, but Gwyneth has been under the doc’s wing for about five years now. She reportedly follows his program to the nose, and her latest cookbook was actually inspired by him and his principles. This breakfast smoothie is one of the best that Gwyneth makes and it really is so refreshing. Give it a try and cleanse the natural way, just like Gwyneth!

This smoothie is a real beauty! Just like it glows, it will have you glowing too! This smoothie features healthy fats, Vitamin C, fiber, protein and a host of antioxidants to nourish your body and aid in cleansing. Since it provides plenty of calories, you won’t suffer from hunger or a crash, but instead, you’ll feel energized and super clean inside, just like celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow who follow Dr. Junger’s Clean Diet program.

Bob Harper is one of the best known celebrity trainers out there, after first starring in The Biggest Loser television show. Harper has now written one of the best top-selling diet books out there called "The Skinny Rules," which followed his book last year, called "Jumpstart to Skinny." Bob advocates eating apples and berries every single day because they’re low calorie, full of antioxidants, fiber, and they fill you up quickly. This smoothie recipe featuring apples and berries by the celebrity trainer is delicious, and I’ve made it several times myself. Give it a try whether you’re looking to get skinny or just be healthy. Either way, it’s a sure-fire tasty way to start your day!

Jennifer Aniston is a huge fan of protein-packed meals after she lost major weight several years ago on a lower carbohydrate diet during her reign on the show Friends. Aniston still carries the same values that a high protein breakfast can have on your metabolism with this delicious shake. This recipe is full of good carbohydrates and also high in antioxidants, protein and fiber. I especially love the beautiful color the most though, don’t you? I would feel almost as pretty as Aniston just drinking this gorgeous thing, almost!
Ingredients:
1 cup nonfat soy milk
1 cup frozen raspberries
¼ ripe banana, frozen
1 cup Greek yogurt, nonfat
Ice (optional)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
