Goat cheese is one of my favorite cheeses, particularly because of its intense flavor. Cheese can be high-calorie, so go for sharper cheeses like cheddar, blue, and Gorgonzola that are rich in flavor. You’ll end up eating much less of these intense cheeses compared to something more processed like American cheese. Pair your goat cheese with a few whole grain crackers and some antioxidant-rich dried cranberries.
3. Whole Grain Oatmeal Topped with All Natural Peanut Butter and Fresh Grapes
It’s peanut butter jelly time! Just kidding! Who says oatmeal is only for breakfast? I love adding peanut butter and fresh grapes to my oatmeal. It’s almost like a more wholesome, adult version of PB&J. This fiber-rich snack can definitely help you achieve the bikini body of your dreams!
4. DIY Super Food Trail Mix with Goji Berries, Raw Nuts, and Dark Chocolate Bits
Conventional trail mixes are often loaded with excessive sugar and high-fat ingredients. Depending on the variety you buy, they can also be expensive. Try making your own trail mix with your favorite dried fruits, raw nuts, and raw seeds. My personal favorite combines goji berries, walnuts, raw pumpkin seeds, and dairy-free dark chocolate morsels.
5. Plain Greek Yogurt with Berries and Raw Honey
Greek yogurt is very rich in protein and can help you feel full on fewer calories. Nix the sugar by opting for plain Greek yogurt instead. Sweeten it up naturally with fresh fruit and a drizzle of raw honey for a sweet treat that will taste much better than any ice cream cone or froyo bar.
6. Baked Tortilla Chips with Vegetarian Refried Black Beans and Fresh Salsa
Even when you’re craving something unhealthy like nachos, there are still ways to make this snack healthy and bikini body friendly. Instead of a meat-based chili, choose refried black beans for extra fiber. A fresh salsa and a sprinkle of fresh queso (use feta cheese if your grocery store doesn’t have it) can make unhealthy nachos a satisfying snack that feels like you’re indulging when you really aren’t!
7. Microwave ‘Baked’ Apples with Cinnamon, Raisins, and Walnuts
Baked apples aren’t something you normally would go to when trying to get into bikini body shape, but they taste super rich and indulgent for a fraction of the calories in a slice of apple pie. Simply ‘bake’ your apple in a microwave safe dish with a little water until it’s soft and tender. Sprinkle with cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts for a healthy snack, or even a dessert.
Getting bikini body ready doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice your favorite foods. Try substituting some of your traditional snacks for these healthier options and you’ll certainly notice awesome changes in your physique!
