Who doesn’t love chicken? Who doesn't love a recipe for cheesy chicken? You can do so many things with chicken: fry it, bake it, roast it, or put it on a spit. But sometimes certain ways of cooking chicken don’t always turn out so great. However, I have a recipe that gives the same results each and every time. This particular chicken recipe was shared with me by my dad. It is a family favorite and is extremely tasty. Trust me… you’ll love this one. Here's a delicious recipe for cheesy chicken.
4 chicken thighs (your choice of skinless or boneless)
1 stick butter
1 tsp. wet minced garlic
½ cup grated parmesan
½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 tsp. basil
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Shredded cheddar cheese (or finely shredded Mexican blend)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, melt a whole stick of butter with minced garlic in the microwave for a minute. In a medium bowl, mix the grated parmesan, breadcrumbs, basil, salt, and pepper together. The next step is to dip each chicken thigh into the butter mix and then coat the whole chicken with the dry mix, covering every bit of the chicken. Then place the chicken in an 8x8 pan and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the chicken. Bake the chicken for 45-55 minutes. For safety measures, cut into one of the chickens for pinkness and to see if juices run clear. If you don’t see any pink and juices are clear, the chicken is ready. Bon appetit!
