7 Delicious and Detoxifying Green Drinks to Help Clear Your Skin ...

There are many benefits to starting your day with detoxifying green drinks.

Some include clearer skin, deeper sleep, less stress, increased energy, better digestion, and improved circulation.

This is because you’re putting cleansing greens into your body that are easy on the digestive system.2

The easier your food is to digest, the more energy your body can use towards getting harmful toxins out of your body because it isn’t using that energy for digestion.

That means your body will have time to fight the cause of your blemished skin, and the toxins causing it will be flushed out.

These detoxifying green drinks are so delicious that you will certainly enjoy doing your body a favor!

1. Stomach Cleanser Green Smoothie

Stomach Cleanser Green Smoothie

Out of all the detoxifying green drinks I’m going to show you, this is the strongest smoothie.

If you aren’t used to detox drinks at all, I probably wouldn’t start with this one.

Mint is a powerful blood detoxifier and reduces bloating.2

Lemon detoxes the blood as well, but it also flushes toxins from the liver and kidneys and aids in digestion.

The taste of refreshing mint pairs nicely with the lemon in this smoothie, creating a light and delicious green-colored drink.

3 cups water

Juice of 1 lemon

1 inch piece of ginger

4 inch piece of cucumber

¼ cup mint

1-2 handfuls ice

Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Cheery Cherry Detox Smoothie

Cheery Cherry Detox Smoothie

This green drink looks red because of the cherries, but actually contains kale.

Kale is a dark leafy green and is very detoxifying to the body.

It contains sulfur for liver detox, vitamin c for hydrating and replenishing, and fiber for detoxifying your digestive system.

There is lemon juice in this smoothie like the last one, but this one also has the anti-inflammatory benefits of cherries.

Cherries are loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants to help you stay healthy.

Chia seeds are also major detoxifiers, binding to excess water and flushing toxins that are in it.

1 cup frozen cherries

2-4 kale cubes or a handful of fresh kale

1 cup non-dairy milk (I use SoDelicious® Coconut Milk Beverage)

2 cups water

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons chia seeds

1 teaspoon gluten-free vanilla extract

Liquid vanilla stevia to taste

(Optional) 1 pack Emergen-C Kidz Fruit Punch (if tolerated)

Directions: Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
