1

Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic Bread

You definitely can't go wrong with good, old fashion spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread. Talk about easy recipes! Purchase pasta, bottled sauce, pre-cooked meatballs, and pre-made garlic bread. The rest is easy. Follow the simple directions on the packages and you'll have a quick, fixed meal in minutes! I personally add my own few seasonings: garlic salt, pepper, etc. Just fix it to your acquired taste buds!

2

Chicken Fajitas

This is my favorite easy, go-to recipe! I recently discovered that you can now purchase grilled chicken already cooked! (I know you probably think I live under a rock!) Low and behold, I also found that in my local grocery they can pre-chop fresh veggies for you! Amazing right? So, I normally buy chopped red bell peppers, green bell peppers, red onions, white onions and buy a package or two of Lawry's fajita seasoning - oh, and don't forget the tortillas! With all of our busy schedules my family and I try and cook together! This fun recipe can let you do that! Set a mini-grill on your table and throw on all the veggies and chicken and watch it sizzle right in front of you at the dinner table. We do this at least once every few weeks! So fun!

3

Chicken Fettucine Alfredo with Mushrooms

A lot of my recipes involve having pre-cooked, pre-cut/pre-washed items. For me, I found it easier to have things half-way done and I just have to put it together. For this recipe, I buy pre-grilled chicken already cut, noodles, bottled Alfredo sauce, pre-cut/pre-washed mushrooms. So, all I would really have to do is reheat the chicken and mushrooms together and saute in butter. Boil the noodles to al dente. And, combine it altogether with the pasta sauce. Deliciouso!

4

Make Your Own Pizza

I love this recipe! It lets us "play" with our food and eat it afterward! I buy pizza dough, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and toppings - I normally just eat pepperoni. This is some good family bonding time too! Literally create your own pizza, portion out the pizza dough, throw on some pizza sauce. Add some cheese and preferred toppings and I like to add seasonings: Italian seasonings, salt, pepper. Bomb.Com!

5

Ramen Noodles

I know, I know: you are probably thinking, is she serious?! But, I am! Spice up some ramen noodles! I learned this great, quick easy recipe from a friend of mine! Instead of making a soup with your ramen, create a stir fry! Crazy right? But, it's delicious! Use about a half a cup of water in a pan to boil the noodles, throw in some butter. Add the seasoning and the water, and the seasoning becomes the sauce of the stir fry. I like to use chicken ramen and add some egg! Throw it altogether into the pan and voila! Chicken and egg stir fry! Its easy, fast, and delicious!

Sandwiches

This is my Husband's favorite dinner! Creating your own sandwich. At my house we do it buffet style, I lay out bread, condiments, meats, and sides. accompanied by a different variety of chips. This usually goes smoothly if I can remember to get the right cheeses and meats! It's simple, fast, and something fun to create. I even set out peanut butter and jelly just in case!

7

Quick Salad with Grilled Chicken and Fruit

Salads are always a healthy alternative. Buying pre-mixed veggies helps tremendously! I like to purchase the pre-mixed salads, add grilled chicken and favorite fruits - strawberries and mandarin oranges. I also like to add some nuts - walnuts or pecans are perfect! I also add tomatoes, and carrots for some added flair! I use pre-made salad dressings, but, creating your own with some olive oil, sugar/honey, lemon juice = perfect! This is a simple, healthy meal surely to satisfy the taste buds.

8

Buffalo Wings Dip

I got this recipe from my sister-in-law. Creating the dip is simple. You'll need: cream cheese, pre-cooked/shredded chicken, Frank's buffalo wing sauce, tortilla chips and mozzarella cheese. Preheat your oven to 350, and spread your cream cheese at the bottom of a glass pan. In a separate bowl, combine your chicken and wing sauce, pour over the cream cheese. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese over the entire thing and place it in the oven for 20 minutes. This makes a great appetizer or a simple meal. I love this recipe!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Yes, you read that correctly. At our grocery, the deli offers turkey, sliced. Real turkey! I buy a couple of pounds, some canned cranberry jelly, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. All you really have to do is heat up the turkey, add some seasoning, de-can the jelly, create the easy to make stuffing, and mashed potatoes. In minutes, you'll create a mini-almost Thanksgiving meal! This is my family's favorite!

10

Breakfast for Dinner

This is also a staple dinner in my household! Breakfast for dinner: eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes or waffles. Quick, easy and delicious! Sometimes I even get fancy and make crepes with fresh fruits. Breakfast can be served throughout any meal - it's good for lunch, dinner, brunch, or a snack!

Something I learned about creating easy recipes for busy families is to keep things simple. Buy ingredients that can cut down on cooking time. So pre-cut, pre-cooked, etc. Also, trying things that only require simple steps usually makes a fast dinner. Do you have any recipes you'd like to share? Have you tried any of these recipes?
