1. Almonds
Pack a snack bag of protein by bringing almonds or any other nut. This will help to curb your appetite and keep you full for longer. Additionally, you may find your sugar level is stabilized and you will not have mood swings or extreme cravings. So munch on some healthy nuts for the right dose of nutrition to better your day!
2. Granola Bars
Instead of rummaging through your purse for change for the vending machine, pack homemade granola bars or you can even purchase a natural brand at your local grocer. Feel satisfied without sabotaging your healthy food plan.
3. Apple
Grab an apple on the go so you can get some soluble fiber, pectin and vitamins to boost your immune system. You will feel better and find yourself having even more energy. And experiment with the many different kinds of apples - pink lady apples are my absolute favorite!

A little bit of sodium to fuel your workouts and some carbohydrates to keep you going for the day. I love a bag of whole wheat pretzels. Add a homemade dip to dabble each one in and it is a winning snack!

6. Veggie Pirate’s Booty
Spinach, parsley, and kale taste incredible in this healthy snack! The light, crunchy delights are packed with veggies, but they taste like you are indulging. The one drawback? It's hard to put them down after opening the bag. So purchase individual bags to avoid overconsumption.
7. Peanut Butter and Pear
Slice up a pear and put in a baggie. Now put some organic, all natural peanut butter in a Tupperware and pack for the day. The pear has vitamins, metabolic pectin and soluble fiber. Now pair this with protein packed peanut butter and this is an effective way to stabilize your blood sugar level and keep you from grazing while on the road.
