When it comes to health and fitness trends, there are always new ideas about what kind of nutrition is the best at different times throughout the day, but something that has always been regarded as the best option is to have a good helping of protein at breakfast. 1. Grilled Kippers
Kippers are a classic breakfast dish, and they are super high in protein too! If you combine the tasty fish with a slice or two of wholemeal toast, you can get up to 32 grams of protein in your breakfast alone, which adds up to around 60 percent of your daily needs right off the bat!
2. Full English
A full English style breakfast is high in protein, but depending on the kind of sides you like with it, it can also be high in fat, so make sure that you make good choices, maybe a scrambled egg over a fried one etc., and you should be fine to enjoy a full English at least one a week.
3. Peanut Butter
Peanut butter is one of those glorious foods that has lots of health benefits whilst also tasting like a straight up treat food at the same time. Two slices of wholegrain toast slathered in peanut butter will provide you with just under 40 percent of your daily protein needs. It’s a breakfast that is packed with fibre too!
4. Smoked Salmon
Smoked salmon is a perfect breakfast food because it is healthy but also tastes luxurious. You could have a slice of it with scrambled eggs, or you could it have on a bagel with some low-fat cream cheese. No matter what your preferred method is, the point is that it is high in both protein and omega 3 fatty acids.
As part of taking control over your health and wellbeing, it's important to pay attention to the amount of sugar you consume daily. Did you ever wonder how many grams of sugar are in a teaspoon? Understanding this can help you make healthier choices and avoid those sneaky sugars that add up throughout the day. No doubt, your body will thank you!
5. Poached Eggs
Eggs are pretty much the king of breakfast. Their versatility is what makes them so great, but for the perfect protein boost, a wonderful option is to have them poached on some sourdough bread with some wilted spinach. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

6. Porridge
It might not sound like the most glamorous breakfast option, but it is certainly great for protein. Porridge helps to keep you feeling fuller for longer, and you can sex it up a little bit by adding things like cinnamon and a sliced banana.
7. Egg and Soldiers
I can’t leave you with just one egg suggestion! How about the classic boiled egg with wholemeal toast soldiers? You get to enjoy a delicious runny, protein-filled yolk, whilst at the same time experiencing some of that childish enjoyment of dipping like you did when you were a kid!
