1. Lighter Color Drinks
Clear drinks, like vodka and gin, don’t contain the high amount of congeners as dark drinks. These congeners worsen the possibility of a hangover the next morning. So skip the brandy and head for the vodka. That's one of the best answers for how to drink without getting a hangover.
2. Drink Water
Hydration is the key to keeping your head clear the next morning. So drink water before, drink water the week before, drink water before you sleep, and drink water in the morning. The more hydrated you are, the less extreme the loss of hydration will be as you continue drinking.
3. Get Plenty of Sleep
Sleeping is often not the thing you desire while you’re partying. But make sure you get a good amount of sleep. This will help you feel alive the next day and therefore, you will exhibit less suffering from a hangover.
4. Eat a Heavy Breakfast
Protein and carbs will soak up some of the effects that the heavy drinking the night before left you with and will get you ready to start your hangover free Sunday.
As part of taking control over your health and wellbeing, it's important to pay attention to the amount of sugar you consume daily. Did you ever wonder how many grams of sugar are in a teaspoon? Understanding this can help you make healthier choices and avoid those sneaky sugars that add up throughout the day. No doubt, your body will thank you!
5. Pre-Game with Prickly Pear Extract
Consuming prickly pear extract a couple of hours before you are drinking is scientifically proven to reduce the effects of the hangover. Nausea especially can be eliminated using this substance.

6. Eat Protein and Carbs before
Loading up on carbs and protein will help soak in the alcohol and leave you less dehydrated from a night of drinking. Although we may want to choose a lesser calorie meal for the dress we are going to wear, you will regret that in the morning.
7. Chase with Gatorade
The electrolytes in Gatorade will serve to keep your body in check as you continue to party. These electrolytes will always be able to help to stave off a hangover.
8. Be Active While Drinking
Playing darts, dancing or mingling to an extreme extent will unconsciously make you drink less. Drinking less will obviously help you stay sharp the next day, and who doesn’t love dancing?
9. Drink Pedialyte
Pedialyte is not just for kids anymore. Pedialyte has electrolytes, so pregaming and taking a morning after Pedialyte will make you feel better.
10. Skimp on Sugary Mixers
Sugary mixers will contribute to your hangover by slowing down the body’s ability to break down the harmful toxins of alcohol. This slow breakdown creates a horrendously slow and painful morning.
