Looking for the recipe for the best Christmas cookie?
The Christmas season has come, which also means cookie season. Everyone has a variety of desserts for the holidays, but the most common dessert that can be found in every home are cookies. You can have cakes, pies, ice cream, and pudding but Christmas isn’t finalized without cookies. Since it is the time of giving and helping others, I am going to share a cookie recipe from my grandmother that is very simple to make and also very addictive to eat. Seriously, you won’t be able to stop eating them because they are so good. My family calls them Christmas Cookies but they are actually pecan logs or balls, depending on how you roll them. If you’re intrigued, continue reading for the recipe for the best Christmas cookie.

Ingredients:

1 ½ stick of butter, softened

2 cups Flour

2 tsp. Vanilla extract

4 tbsp. Powdered sugar

1 cup Chopped pecans

First preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. As you wait for the oven to heat up, cream the softened butter in a medium to large bowl with an electric mixer and gradually add flour. Next stir in the vanilla and powdered sugar. Then add the chopped up pecans (you can crush the pecans in a Ziploc bag, using a rolling pin). Mix the pecans in the dough well. Finally, roll the dough into small logs or balls. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. Once they are finished, roll the cookies in powdered sugar while they are hot out of the oven. Let them cool on a rack and then start munchin’.

I hope you like them as much as I do.
