Sometimes a big old dish of take out Chinese food is the only thing to satisfy a craving. Sure, you can create healthier versions at home, but you can certainly indulge now and then in the real deal. Plus, there's no cooking and very little clean up when you let someone else do the work for you. Chinese food is often very high in fat, calories and salt so don't make it a habit to call out for it all the time. But enjoy it thoroughly when you do.

This is my favorite way to start a Chinese meal. Do you like egg drop soup?
Egg drop soup is the perfect comfort food, offering a soothing blend of chicken broth with delicate ribbons of whisked eggs. It’s surprisingly simple to make at home, and nothing beats a steaming bowl of homemade goodness. Just imagine the warmth of the golden broth that is lightly seasoned with white pepper and infused with the subtle flavor of green onions. A sprinkle of sesame oil can add an extra layer of depth to this classic dish. Perfect for cozy nights in or as a gentle start to a lavish feast, egg drop soup is a delightful choice that never disappoints.
