Not only are they really healthy, but theyโ€™re totally delicious! There are lots of superfoods you should be eating more of, but hereโ€™s a list of my top 7!

Kale is so versatile and definitely one of those superfoods you should be eating as much of as possible! Itโ€™s delicious in creamy pastas or stir fries and absolutely amazing made into chips! Itโ€™s high in calcium and vitamins C and K, and contains a substance called sulforaphane, which has very strong cancer-fighting properties! If you eat lots of this great superfood, youโ€™ll also develop lower cholesterol and decrease your bodyโ€™s absorption of fats, yay!

Lentils

If youโ€™re looking to get more protein into your diet, then lentils are the superfood for you! As well as being very high in protein, they also contain heaps of minerals, iron and vitamin B, which will help your body to be as healthy as possible. Add some lentils to soups, curries or salads, make veggie burgers out of them or even eat them on their own for a delicious snack!

I can safely say that asparagus is one of my favourite foods ever. Itโ€™s a member of the onion and garlic family, and is packed with antioxidants, anti-cancer properties and vitamins A, C, E and K! Asparagus will help to rid your body of any excess salts too, so it helps make you even healthier! Research is currently being done on asparagusโ€™ apparent ability to slow down the ageing process, so who can complain?
