7 Gum Flavors That Will Leave You Wondering ...

Eliza

We all have our favorite gum flavors, but sometimes you come across one that just makes you wonder what someone was thinking. I don’t chew gum a lot, but when I do, I want something minty and tend to stay away from the strange flavor combinations that are always cropping up on gas station shelves. If you love to chew gum and get tired of the same old types, maybe it’s time to find out about some strange gum flavors that you might be curious enough to try. I’ll leave that to you, but I’d be happy to hear what you think.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream At first glance, this is one of those gum flavors that sound appetizing, but I wonder if you’d really like it. Think about it. A cold, creamy dish of mint chocolate chip ice cream is pure heaven, but somehow it doesn’t hold the same allure as a warm piece of gum that stays in your mouth for hours. Am I right? I think I’d just go for the ice cream regardless of the calories and fat; it would be far more satisfying.

2

Bacon

Bacon Someone had to invent bacon flavored gum, right? There’s bacon flavored everything else, after all. Can you imagine chomping on a bacony wad of gum for the afternoon? Don’t get me wrong, I love bacon as much as the next person, but I’m not sure it’s a taste that was cut out for a gumball. What do you think?

TV Dinner

TV Dinner As if TV dinners weren’t already unappetizing enough, now they come in gumball form? Imagine a trio of gumballs, each with the tempting flavor of things like buttered corn, Salisbury steak, chicken nuggets or anything covered in gravy. The dessert one might be semi-palatable, but I’m not sure I’d want to chew a Hungry Many dinner any longer than I had to.

UPD:

TV dinners are a classic American convenience food that were popular in the 1950s. The traditional TV dinner consists of a main dish, usually meat, and two side dishes. Recently, a new type of TV dinner has emerged: gumball-sized versions of the classic meal. The gumballs come in flavors such as buttered corn, Salisbury steak, chicken nuggets, and anything covered in gravy. Dessert-flavored gumballs are also available. While these mini meals may be convenient, they are not necessarily appetizing. Eating a Hungry Man dinner in gumball form may be a challenge for even the most adventurous foodies.

Meatballs

Meatballs Just because meatballs and gumballs have the same shape doesn’t mean that a meatball flavored gumball would taste all that great. Again, I’m all for a pile of delicious meatballs, but I like to chew and swallow them, not munch for hours. Of course, you might find this flavor something you love so by all means, give it a try and don’t just take my word for it.

UPD:

The idea of meatball-flavored gum seems to flirt with the lines of culinary experimentation and bizarre mash-ups. Can you imagine the blend of beefy, herby flavors swirling around in your mouth as you attempt to blow a bubble? It's a curious mix that defies the typical fruity or minty freshness we expect from our chewing gum. But like any adventurous foodie knows, the oddest pairings can sometimes surprise us with delight—or at least a memorable story to share. Just proceed with caution, as the aftertaste might warrant a minty follow-up!

Cola

Cola Ok, here’s one I might actually like a little bit. Cola flavored gumballs are sweet like soda so they would probably be a lot easier to chew than a meat one, am I right? In fact, there are actually several companies that make soda flavored gumballs and I think they might be something I’d be willing to try. Especially if they have one that tastes like a cold, fizzy Dr. Pepper.

UPD:

Cola flavored gumballs are a popular choice among gum enthusiasts and have been around since the 1980s. They are typically made with a combination of sugar, corn syrup, artificial flavoring, and coloring. Some companies, such as Dubble Bubble and Big League Chew, offer a variety of soda flavors including cola, root beer, and orange soda. These gumballs are not only popular among children, but also adults who enjoy the nostalgic taste of their favorite soda in a chewable form. They are also a fun addition to parties and events, as they can be used as decorations or party favors. Overall, cola flavored gumballs are a tasty and enjoyable option for those looking for a unique gum flavor.

Ghost Pepper

Ghost Pepper I am seriously scratching my head with this one. Ghost peppers are supposed to be so spicy that most people can’t fathom eating a molecule of one, let alone chewing on the flavor for hours. If you’re brave, please tell me how this works because I can only imagine being in complete agony the entire time I chewed it.

7

Cocktail Weinies

Cocktail Weinies I actually feel a little bit like gagging right now. Canned meat is gross enough on its own, but to flavor gum with it? These little nuggets remind me of being a kid when other children brought those little tins of cocktail weinies for lunch. The smell alone is enough to make my eyes water.

What’s your favorite gum flavor? Would you be brave enough to try any of the ones on this list?

Sounds Very Spicy

The mint chocolate chip isn't bad. Neither is the Dr. pepper. The others? Mmmmm....no thanks!

Sounds Spicy

Totally agree with the other people - Extra Mint Chip gum is pretty good. The others sound pretty disgusting...

The extra one is pretty good. It's not as good as real ice cream that's for sure, but it's a nice flavor of gum nonetheless especially for me, someone who isn't a big fan of straight mint gum. The cola flavored one doesn't sounds too bad either, everything else, seems rather novel, more just for the fun of having something so ridiculous than actually chewing it.

The mint chocolate chip gum is actually not that bad. And well, bacon flavored gum was inevitable at this point, considering our bacon craze.

Meatballs and Weinies? You're joking!

Yep, the mint choco chip is really pretty good. The rest sound pretty nasty but i did like my dr pepper chapstick so maybe the gum wouldn't be too awful?

The dr pepper one is amazing and the mint chocolate chip is pretty good
