I have quite a thing for banana milkshake. (And if you wanna know a secret, I always have a tub of Nana Nesquik in the cupboard should I not have the ingredients/time for a fresh shake – yes I know! I sometimes think I never got past aged 7 in some of my tastes). But generally I love milkshakes. I like to think that the sheer effort of sucking up all that thick gooey loveliness negates the calories ingested ^_^ (I’ll keep telling myself that.) Here are some great milkshake recipes – some I’ve tried and some I can’t wait to try.

Let’s be honest, is there anything more indulgent in the summer than getting your hands on a cold, delicious, ever so naughty ice cream sandwich? They have reached a level of popularity that means there a literally hundreds of different combinations nowadays, but when it comes to milkshake form, there is nothing better than a classic vanilla, chocolate and cookies recipe!

Come on, it’s the summer, forget about calories for a second and give your body the sweet treat that it deserves! I have to admit that my very greatest sweet tooth weakness is anything that includes the words salted caramel! The sweet and savory combination is completely irresistible to me, and mixed with a popcorn theme this milkshake is easily something I could knock back every single day. I won’t though; I know my limits!
