This Thanksgiving is sure to be tough, with Uncle Charlie having at old Aunt Margaret for her political views, and your cousin Cindy casting side-eyes at your still-single status. How's a girl to get through an entire day of thorny "are you seeing anyone special?" questions without losing her cool? Alcohol, of course, or at least a tasty mocktail to take the edge off, just a little, until the last slice of pumpkin pie is gone and the coat closet is finally empty. Here are a few adult (or adult-looking) bevs to get you through Turkey Day unscathed.

Cranberry Moscow Mule

8 oz of ginger beer
The juice of 1 lime
1 shot of vodka
1 tbsp cranberry juice cocktail
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and stir well. Pour over ice and serve in a copper mug. Garnish with raw cranberries and lime slices.

In a large pitcher, stir together the white wine, apple cider, apples, pear and cranberries. Let chill for at least an hour. Serve over ice with sparkling white wine, and garnish with a festive sprig of rosemary.

Sparkling Pear Punch

2 cups pear juice
Juice of 1 lemon
½ cup sugar
2 liters ginger ale
Sliced fresh pear
Instructions:
Pour the pear juice into large punch bowl, then add the lemon juice. Stir in the sugar, then mix in the ginger ale and add the pear slices.

2-3 oz cranberry juice
2-3 oz champagne
Instructions:
Simple! Combine all of the ingredients in a champagne flute, top with sugar cranberries as garnish, and enjoy!

2 Plums
6 Thyme Sprigs
Juice from one Lemon
4 Tbsp. Thyme Simple Syrup (1/2 Cup of Sugar, 1/2 Cup of Water, bring to a boil, remove from heat, add thyme sprigs, stir, and let cool.)
1 Bottle of Prosecco
Instructions:
Peel and chop 2 plums. Mash the plums with the thyme simple syrup and lemon juice until all of the plum juices have been released. Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker, then pour over crushed ice into two glasses. Top off with prosecco and garnish with extra plum slices and thyme sprigs.

Sparkling Bourbon Pumpkin Apple Punch

32 oz Sprouts Organic Pumpkin Spiced Apple Cider
24 oz ginger ale
6 oz bourbon
Maple Simple Syrup (1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, stirred over heat til bubbling, then cooled to room temperature)
Instructions:
In a glass pitcher, combine the apple cider, ginger ale, bourbon and maple simple syrup, and stir until well-mixed. Serve chilled, over ice if you'd like.

Instructions:
Add ice, frozen cranberries, and lime slices to two large wine glasses. In each glass, add equal parts wine and seltzer water. Stir, then garnish with each with a sprig of rosemary.

2 Tbsp orange liqueur
2 Tbsp maple syrup
Bottle of Prosecco, chilled
Instructions:
Combine apple cider, orange liqueur and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for about 20 seconds, then pour the mixture into champagne flutes and top with the chilled Prosecco. Add a sprig of rosemary to garnish.

2 oz of cranberry-infused simple syrup (1 cup of fresh cranberries, 3/4 cup of water, and 1/3 cup of sugar stirred together in a small pot over low heat for about 10 minutes til the cranberries pop, then stirred for about five more minutes, strained, and cooled)
1 oz of orange liqueur
Instructions:
Add ice, vodka, and cranberry syrup, and orange liqueur to an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake to chill. Pour into a chilled martini glass and garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

Sparkling Fig & Honey Cocktail

Ingredients:
¼ cup honey
¼ cup filtered water
6 figs cut into quarters
2 sprigs thyme
1 cup champagne
½ cup apple cider
1 oz orange liquor
Instructions:
Combine the honey, water and figs in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over low heat and whisk continuously until the honey is melted and the figs begin to soften. Add the thyme and let simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and let the mixture sit for a few minutes. Remove the thyme sprigs from the honey mixture and use a food processor or immersion blender to blend the honey and figs into a smooth syrup. In a small pitcher, combine the champagne, apple cider and orange liquor. Add two tablespoons of the fig syrup and stir. Pour into two glasses and garnish with extra thyme and fig slices.

4 cups apple cider
1 cup pear nectar or white grape juice
3 cups ginger ale
1 gala or empire apple, diced
Instructions:
Combine the liquids in a large punch bowl, toss in the apples, and serve.

Salted Caramel Eggnog

3 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
4 cinnamon sticks
¾ tbsp. pure vanilla extract
1 tsp. grated nutmeg
5 eggs
¾ cup white sugar
½ cup caramel syrup
1 tbsp. sea salt
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine milk, cream, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. Carefully bring to the boil over a medium heat. As soon as you see it bubbling, remove from heat. Allow to sit for at least 5-10 minutes to steep. In a large stand mixer, beat eggs and sugar on medium high/high until fully combined. Pour egg mixture into the cooled milk and whisk quickly until fully combined.

Add caramel, sea salt, and rum (if using). Continue whisking to fully combine. When you're ready to serve, beat the egg whites on high until foamy peaks form. (this is optional).

Pour the eggnog into the glass leaving a bit of room at the top. Top with fluffy egg whites (optional). Garnish with nutmeg and caramel sauce.

Thanksgiving Punch

2 gallons of apple cider, not spiced
12 Oz. Bottle Caramel Syrup
1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
Instructions:
Pour the cider into a punch bowl. Add the entire bottle of caramel syrup, then stir in the spice, using a whisk. Stir occasionally during dinner to keep the cider mixed and yummy.
