Greek Yogurt is totally delicious and highly nutritious. It is an ideal breakfast food but a bit samey if you eat just a bowl of it, on its own, every day. Greek yogurt just screams out for toppings or additions that make it a low carb, high protein breakfast treat. These are the toppings to keep in your cupboard to pair with the Greek yogurt in your fridge.

1 Maple Walnut Cereal Bowl

If you're a fan of maple syrup, you can always use it to make your yogurt tastier than ever. A drizzle of maple syrup (pure) is enough to add deliciousness to a cup of Greek yogurt. Add a few toasted walnuts for a healthy and tasty breakfast bowl.

3 Yogurt Melon Bowl

To make your yogurt taste delicious and make it even more healthful, top it with pumpkin seeds and berries but pimp it up by serving it in a melon. Use half a cantaloupe as a bowl and add a cup of plain Greek yogurt to it. Now, combine berries and pumpkin seeds and use as a topping. Dig in!

4 Smoothie Yogurt Bowl

This is a thick smoothie so it’s best u a bowl. Take a cup of frozen berries and add some honey to it. Now, blend it with a cup of Greek yogurt until it turns smooth. Top with some granola or nuts or even sunflower seeds for some crunch.

5 Chia Cereal Yogurt Bowl

Take half cup of bran boxed cereal – you can also opt for your favorite whole-grain cereal. Use it to top a cup of plain Greek yogurt. Finish it with some chia seeds.

6 Tropical Yogurt Bowl

If you're looking for some of the best yogurt toppings, you just cannot ignore the combo of kiwi and banana. Cut up a small banana and a kiwi fruit and add to your bowl of yogurt. Make it even better and truly tropical with some unsweetened coconut flakes.

Take a diced peach and use it to top a cup of Greek yogurt. Finish it by sprinkling some cinnamon. Cinnamon will add a bit of zing to your yogurt, but be sure to use it sparingly.

9 Savory Avocado Yogurt Bowl

If you prefer a savory start to the day, add a spoonful of Greek yogurt to half an avocado. Next up, drizzle it with some extra-virgin oil and use a pinch of salt, herbs, or hot sauce for toppings. I sometimes use the olive oil from a jar of sun dried tomatoes. It's yummy.

10 Totally Greek

This is one of my favorite treats. Quarter some fresh figs (1 or 2). Add your yogurt to a bowl. Put the fig around the edge or to the side and then add honey. Put it in a pool in the middle or drizzle over the figs. I like a middle puddle.
