Kd is Kraft dinner lol. Like Mac and cheese? And I'm not sure I could describe quinoa. I usually have it mixed with things, I've never had it alone. But it doesn't change the taste so I don't think it really taste like anything lol. I live on Canada and so everything is much more expensive than the states. Health stores here don't carry seeds, at least not in my city they only carry supplements, oils, sometimes fresh vegetables and fruits. Where I live there's also very little difference from grocery store to grocery store. People get angry about the most expensive store charging 10 cents more than everywhere else, I know it adds up eventually but they do all try to be lowest priced. I go to farmers markets but there's generally nothing but fruits and vegetables. Never seen any seeds or anything like that. I don't generally cook a lot, its just me most of the time so I cook a lot of quick little one person meals and since I'm also a picky eater (I don't like spicy) and I don't eat meat, so it's difficult to find a lot of different foods to cook that doesn't break the bank either.

Peony Blue, I agree, I have eaten Caviar, and Loved it, it looks Gross, but will never eat it again for moral reasons. I love Growing Things, and have always been successful, and its great fun, and can save loads of money. I Love meat, but not really fussed. Seafood I cant get enough of, but all these foods are expensive. Free Range food does taste and look different, its so easy to tell the difference. Peony I dont think you would Try 1000 Year old Chinese eggs. If you claim you would try anything new, go make a youtube video of you trying it, I would get my Cinema seat and get popcorn and pay to watch that lol

Love quinoa! Wishing I had more time and more bulk money now. All these things are cheap per meal once you have them, but a bag of organic non processed quinoa is like 15$ each. I just bought some chia seeds and a couple of other seeds to mix into pastas and oatmeal, but it was a 200$ trip to the grocer and only bought around 5 items. But I do love quinoa on top of salads. Didn't think of buying it when I bought my seeds. Seeds go great on pastas, even KS, once you have mixed it in with the cheese children don't even notice the seeds. Especially those who use ketchup. When I watch my best friends 5 picky kids that's my go to. Wonder if they'd like quinoa. It's definitely fun to cook/boil and see the little "heads" pop out. Too bad I just had wisdom teeth surgery and can't have any little foods like seeds for a month or I'd go get some tonight. :)

Todays Meal Courgettes, Olive oil, Garlic in a Tomato sauce with chilli flakes and Balsamic Vinegar, possibly Pasta with oregano and mushrooms. The mushrooms I think might Flood the meal, or some Ciabatta bread instead of pasta. Main meal is later. Some of the ugliest foods taste the best, look at passion fruits. Meal will cost me no more than 79 pence to make.

Ritchie V's Tip 101 - Dont use Powdered Chilli, its not good and its that red colour because of Chemicals. Make your own, or get Chilli flakes, its so easy, get Your Fav chillis put them in an oven on a low heat for 30 mins to an hour, keep checking till they are dry, Then Get a Coffee grinder, I use mine especially for spices, and then filter it out with a Sieve. I did that with some Blow Your Wig off Heat Chilli's I grew a few years ago.
