2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ cup (1 stick) melted butter

½ cup milk

½-¾ cup sugar (depending on how sweet you like it!)

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp salt

2 eggs, beaten

1 can cherry pie filling

Preheat your oven!

325 degrees.

And grease a 9 x 13 pan.

Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and melted butter in a mixing bowl, stirring with a fork until nice and crumbly!

If you have large clumps, stab them with your fork!

Set aside ½ cup of the crumb mixture.

If you want to add nuts to your topping, now’s the time to add it to that ½ cup!

Add the milk and eggs to the larger mixture of crumbs and stir until everything is incorporated.2

There will be lumps, but no worries!

Pour the batter into your cake pan and spread evenly.2

Next, spread the can of cherry pie filling over the top of the cake batter, then sprinkle your set-aside crumb topping over the top.

Bake your cake for 40-45 minutes, beginning to check it at 35 for doneness!

There you have it, gals!

Some great, scrumptious twists to your classic cherry pie!

These are sure to be a hit with your guests, so make sure to steal away a piece for yourself!
